An Air Scrubber removes contaminants in the air. It works by drawing air through a series of filters where the air contaminants will be deposited. Clean purifier air will be released out the other side.

This HEPA Air Scrubber is a proven design that has been used in Australia for over 20 years by professional contractors, businesses and homeowners alike. It is the standard for HEPA filtration today. While there are several other units on the market today, this is the unit that has been proven to provide true high-quality HEPA Rated filtration. The filter media made for these units are used by professional ISO standard organisations throughout Australia.

There are 2 filters inside this unit. The first is the HEPA pre-filter. The pre-filter is designed to catch large particles before they run through the main HEPA primary filter. If the HEPA pre-filter is not used, the HEPA primary will get clogged up and get destroyed very quickly. Please ensure that the pre-filter is never removed throughout the duration of the hire.

The HEPA primary filter is the main filter that will be removing the extremely small particles (mould spores etc.). It is placed well inside the unit and sealed to the sides so no contamination can leak past. To learn more about Mould Remediation and application, check this out.

Another filter that you may need is an Activated Carbon Filter. This unit is placed between the pre-filter and the HEPA primary. It is used for removing gases (VOC’s), smoke and other odours. This is particularly effective for odour removal. You can buy activated carbon filters here.
