Typical Use

  • Water Damage Restoration – Provides a low dew point air stream that will remove moisture from building materials which have water damage due to floods, storms and pipe bursts. They will quickly dry out wet buildings and structures to prevent mould growth. The use of this equipment reduces degradation of building materials and lowers the risk of mould due to high moisture levels.
  • New Construction Dehumidification – Speed the drying and during of construction materials. It also helps prevent odors and poor air quality due to microbial growth and mould.
  • Industrial Preparation, Surface Coating and Corrosion Control – It can prevent condensation inside tanks before painting or industrial coating to ensure correct bonding.
  • Industrial condensation prevention in Manufacturing and Food Processing – Remove condensation to ensure high quality of food and goods.

An advantage of our desiccant dehumidifiers is that they use LPG heating inside the unit to heat the air. This saves money in Diesel since the only alternative is electric element heating powered by diesel generators. This is a far more costly and inefficient method of generating heat. Fuel costs can be cut considerably using gas powered heating. Also this allows in many situations for our desiccants to be powered by onsite 3 phase power rather than having to hire a generator.

Desiccant Dehumidifiers in comparison to typical refrigerant dehumidification provides more aggressive drying with much lower dew points. Perfect for releasing bound moisture in porous concrete in area wide catastrophe flooding.
